On April 23rd 2021. DEBRA held third webinar ”The role of health and social specialist in EB and other dermatological diseases” for nurses. Webinar was organised by DEBRA Croatia due to International Alliance of Dermatology Patient Organizations – IADPO Member Impact Fund which we are very proud of. Main goal of project is to exchange knowledge and informations as well as education which will ensure better understanding of rare diseases and raising quality of life which is important for both people with rare dermatological diseases and for health care providers. In a two-hour webinar attended by 30 nurses, we talked about dermatological care of a child with Netherton’s syndrome, the health care of epidermolysis bullosa and the integration of care for patients with rare diseases-the role of the nurse as “case-manager” held by our Mateja Krznar. We are very much looking forward to last webinar for social workers in May.
